I tried something new with this one. I asked these homeowners if they minded if I filmed the install since they were home while I installed. I felt pretty happy when I left and I knew they liked them. It wasn’t until I got home and watched the video from install that I realized, I got their reaction to the doors on video!
These homeowners were a referral online. They knew nothing about me or my company when they decided to give me a call. I can’t wait to go back and do other projects for them now!
They wanted a modern set of doors and the finish to be the color of a guitar. They wanted silver hardware so I found some that would match the modern look.
I built these using maple and some curly maple. Sound was an issue for them (as you’ll hear in the video) so I recessed the doors so they would overlap and block some sound.
